Let's get this out in the open nice and early- guitarist Mattias Eklundh (Freak Kitchen, Art Metal) probably isn't an actual human. He is in fact a machine built to play guitar sent from outer space to either make you want to quit the instrument or practice harder, depending on your self-esteem and dedication to the instrument.
Not to be outdone by his own playing, Eklundh took it up several notches in a recent Caparison Guitars YouTube video where he plays one hell of a rhythm with the teeth of a comb. Could comb metal be the next big thing? Once comb metal is old and people ape the genre just to be retro can we call it combover metal (y'know, like dad metal)?
