I have never listened to Boris up until right now, but I have been told they're quite sludgy and heavy. Which is weird considering their new song "Vanilla" isn't exactly that. "Vanilla" is what I would imagine happens if you let doom and sludge metal out of their cages in the basement to romp through some punk records as they jam on Rush's Hold Your Fire album as they rummage. How awesome does that sound? Well find out for yourself- hit play on this bad boy and let me know what you think! I'm impressed enough to check out their back catalogue, but is it really that different?
