METALLICA To Release Remastered Deluxe Box Sets of Kill 'Em All & Ride The Lightning

Posted by on February 17, 2016 at 9:40 pm

Metallica has its own label now, titled Blackened Recordings, and the band seems like it'll be putting it to good use! On April 15, Metallica will be reissuing Kill 'Em All and Ride The Lightning in some seriously heavy duty box sets! Ride The Lightning will be 4 LPs, 6 CDs, and a DVD, while Kill 'Em All will be 4 LPs, 5 CDs, and a DVD.

The releases will include "original source material from the band’s personal collection with many never before heard or seen recordings along with books including rare photos and essays from those who were there," as well as digital remasters of both albums. The band even teased two of the bonus live tracks that come with these releases.
