Just when you thought there was no way Evan Brewer could one-up his debut solo album Alone, he goes ahead and gives you a sneak peek of Album #2. Are you ready?
I really dig that he's bringing in some musicians this time around. The ideas presented on Alone were awesome- there's no arguing that, but with a full band fleshing out what even an innumerable amount of basses could not is going to bring Brewer's sound to a whole new level. The video sells the trio of piano, drums, and bass well enough that I'd actually love to see it just be that.
The other thing that's getting me pumped about this just from the video is that the snippets of music shown aren't simply "Evan Brewer Bass Extravaganza Shredfest 2013" and some extra instruments doing stuff in the background. The music sounds like it was composed specifically to be played with multiple instruments, and damn is that sound good. Brewer also reveals he will be reuniting with his Animosity bandmate Navene Koperwies for a track.
Keep an eye out for the album to be released sometime around July!
