It's one thing if you are in a metal band and you happen to be Christian. Its another thing to be in a Christian Metal Band, and have to show over and over again that you are Christian. This would have been a decent video had it not had the crucifix blasted on his face, and him held up his cross. Seriously, I don't want to hear about your imaginary invisible friend. I'm smart enough to realize your god, or any god for that matter, doesn't exist. Go make some music, and leave your silly religion out of it.
It's one thing to leave a comment if you happen to be Atheist. Its another thing to leave an Atheist comment, and have to show over and over again that you are an angry Athiest. This would have been a decent comment had it not had the anger and hatred blasted in it's text. Seriously, I don't want to hear about your blind anger. I'm smart enough to realize your disbelief in God stems from bitterness for shitty life. Go type some comments, and leave your silly opinions out of it.
Oh wait, this is a free country. Anyone can sing, type, or say anything they want whether you like it or not.
batmessiah got SCHOOLED
Though I agree with batmessiah, I also agree with Ryan.Strain, you're just as bad as the Christ-lovers.
This video sucks, because Christian metal lacks the darkness. Which is weird, cause they've done some pretty metal stuff (Crusades)
This video was a vanity piece and I don't care what that guys father told him
agreed. this isnt very good at all... with all due respect. not towards these people though. im sure they know metal is like the opposite of christianity. this doesnt belong here. but oh well i can't change that.
So schooled. My disbelief in god comes from the observable world around me. This band has never been good. Their slight fame and popularity come because they are Chrisitan and it is something that Christian kids can listen to and not feel like they are betraying god. That, to me, is sad. I attack, for I'm not an atheist, but an anti-theist.
You and all the others on this comment thread to realize that any argument in favor of God(s) is just as absurd and unprovable as an argument against the existence of God(s) ... the fact of the matter is there are good metal bands and bad ones and there is written no where in the "RULES OF BEING A METAL BAND AND FAN" that says you have to be anti-God,religion,faith,Jesus,the Old Testament, the New Testament, the Quran, or anything else for that matter... the argument just goes around and around in circles
Well said bud!
shitty video! cool song!
previously: "...your disbelief in God stems from bitterness for shitty life."
I was once under the spell of Christianity, and since I've stopped following those beliefs my life continues, actually very positive. So by not believing someone else's stories and fables, my life hasn't turned to bitter-shits.
Anywho... blah blah blah Jesus and stuff, the video still sucks.
Just be decent towards each other. It's that simple.
This music video is boring as hell..
Stone-cold atheist here. Anyone bitching about "imaginary friends" here better not listen to any of the Satanic (Watain) or Pagan (Amon Amarth) bands without making the same complaint.
Furthermore, the ONLY problem I have with Christian metal is the weird clash I have between a message of god's love and mercy atop abrasive, loud music. It's like listening to Satanic bluegrass.
That said, DH is okay, and this video is DEFINITELY rad. The Chariot still reigns supreme in terms of Xtian rock/metal, IMO.
I dunno...had a nice ring to it...horns up
i like this song even when it is made by christians ,and in the lyrics i cannot find anything about jesus or god or some angels
It is about life struggles and problems and stuff
but the nicest thing about this vid is at 1:21 LOL
no...... serious the song is good
everyday life struggle can be a war
this song is about the iraq war guys haha, this song is so amazing, these guys are a local band over here...so much anger in this song haha
