Dog Fashion Disco are fucking nuts, which is exactly why you'd want to go see them. Now throw in some slightly ridiculous covers and it just ups the fun a thousand-fold!
Yeah, Ricky Martin. The band seriously covered his "Livin' La Vida Loca," because let's face it we all know that damn song, and Clutch's "A Shogun Named Marcus" with a horn section, because fuck it. Apparently there was a Metallica and Peter Gabriel song in there as well. Good on them for not taking life so seriously and having a ball with it, not to mention friggin' killing the covers they chose. Since the band get together every year to do a reunion shows in MD, they ought to just do more reunion shows… in different states. Called a tour. Because they're fun. Oh, and about that crowdfunder-
We will be starting a kickstarter very soon to fund the new DFD endeavors. The kickstarter will have some interesting and fun options for newbies and die hard DFD fans. Your contributions will help us tour hopefully most of the major cities in the United States and also venture into Europe. If the monetary goals are met than we will have the means of touring the world with a full horn section. We are an independent operation and only move forward with our fan/friends support.
