In January of 2013, Michigan's Cloud Rat released one of the best albums of the year, and you probably didn't even know it existed. The album, titled Moksha, is 30 minutes of crusty grindcore catharsis, and, if any part of that phrase interests you, this is an album you have to own. The digital version of Moksha is available as a pay-what-you-want download via Cloud Rat's Bandcamp page, so do yourself a favor and snatch it up immediately.
If you like what you hear and live somewhere on the East Coast, you're in luck because the band is hitting the road for an 18 day East Coast tour in September. It's been a while since Cloud Rat paid the Eastern Seaboard a visit and it may be a bit before they come back, so, if you want to see them live, definitely hit up one of the dates below.
