I don't usually write about reissues, but I had to write about this one. Sleep's opus Dopesmoker will be remastered "from the original smoke-encrusted Ampex reels" and re-released this summer. The deluxe reissue will also feature a live bootleg of their performance of “Holy Mountain” from San Francisco’s I-Beam in 1994. But seriously, this artwork by Arik Roper is what sells it for me.
