This edition of the Livecast kicks off Mayhem Month, where we'll have a member of a band on Mayhem Fest on each week. We were joined by Suicide Silence guitarist Mark Heylmun (interview starts about 52 minutes into the show) who revealed a lot of information about the band's forthcoming release, including the title of the record and the release month. We also played a new edition of Thrash It or Trash It listening to The Drip, Nohari, To Kill For and Lavagoat.     Let me start off with saying, "I hate Suicide Silence's music, liked them once but it was more to appease my friends. Got over it and yes I do hate their music."

    I am more sick and tired of these faceless trolls and petty "Metal-heads" thinking they can control the sanctity of what they to believe nothing more then the Aryan master blood of there music to remain pure.

    I won't not call in because even though I don't like there music until I start revolting against this witlessness fiasco that is music elitism.

    Don't say that it's because I don't want to see a musician get butt-hurt, couldn't care less about that but I for one don't want the human race to devolve back into apes and that's what is happening even inside this subculture.

    eh..Suicide Silence is pretty awesom, but there r sooooooooooooo many other (better) bands/musicians they could have chosen to do this thing, idk, i dont see how ss is scene at all haha, and theyr not one of the best deathcore bands out there, and i will agree that theyr getting more credit than they deserve. but hey, at least they didnt choose some screamo artist, now THAT would have been a hillarious fail xD

    this is one of the only true american sites around, and Suicide Silence is a fukin West Coast kick ass heavy band, but i agree i dont waste my time with podcasts, i support my favorite bands by going to the shows, buying the tshirts or the record! Is all good people, keep this type of music alive and well, and support it!
