The Ghost Inside drummer Andrew Tkaczyk lost his leg in the band's horrific November 2015 bus crash. Tkaczyk has since been fitted for a prosthetic and has even posted videos of himself drumming here and there. He says while drumming with the prosthetic leg hasn't been completely impossible, getting the timing down has been extremely difficult.
Tkaczyk has now revealed via Instagram his new solution to drumming – The Hammer. He says it allows him to drum without the use of the prosthetic, and it gives him a great sense of timing in a song. The Ghost Inside recently had their first band practice since the crash and have collectively said they will carry on as a band.
