SLAYER Returns To Fun Fun Fun Fest, GOJIRA, AUGUST BURNS RED, THE LOCUST and more also confirmed.
Hey, remember that time Glenn Danzig couldn't find any French onion soup at Fun Fun Fun Fest even though Slayer – playing the same festival – apparently had spare cans just laying the fuck around? Well, Glenn has since only been seen in Austin via Yelp but Slayer are stacking cases of Campbell's in anticipation of a return engagement this November.
The big difference this time around is that Slayer will be rolling back into town with one less original member (Gary Holt was already filling in for Hanneman at 2011's appearance). Paul Bostaph has already been announced as Dave Lombardo's permanent replacement so this will give fans who were there two years ago a chance to see a retooled version of the band.
Also bolstering the lineup are Gojira, Quicksand, Pelican and August Burns Red among others, plus other crossover-appeal acts such as Death Grips, Body Count and the Keith Morris-led incarnation of (Black) FLAG. A full list can be found below as well as the festival's website:
