Well, it's official! THE RED CHORD's upcoming release Fed Through The Teeth Machine now has a concrete release date: October 27th. The band have also released the cover art for the CD (to your right) and Gunface released a statement talking about the CD:
We spent the last year working hard on this one and we're excited for everyone to finally hear it. It's a lot faster and, in my opinion, more straight forward in a structural sense. We're really happy with the great work Jonny Fay and Zeuss did too. It's not a concept record, but there are some loose conceptual elements to it: hygienic obsession, delusional compound-dwellers and Maniac Mansion. Get ready to make fun of us on the internet!
A new track has been posted off the CD (called Demoralizer) on their MySpace page which Gunface described as "probably one of the angriest-sounding songs we've recorded". Well, it does sound rather angry and rather heavy! It kills, of course. I cannot wait to hear this record.
