KATAKLYSM Tease Their Upcoming Waiting For The End To Come Record
Trials and tribulations aside, Kataklysm are all geared up to start the media frenzy around Waiting for the End to Come! Fun fact; it's going to be pretty sweet.
Kataklysm have suffered the loss of drummer Max Duhamel earlier this year to some personal issues, but apparently that has put no damper on the band's will to forge onward! Waiting for the End to Come is out on Nuclear Blast come October 29, and it's sounding pretty damn sick. In addition to the sweet, heavy music you're hearing on the trailer above, the band's frontman Maurizio Iacono seems pretty stoked on the record's artwork, saying:
The new album art depicts a child, which represents innocence in humanity, covered in dirt and blood from life’s experience. In front of him is death represented by a reaper, who comes to claim his soul for the afterlife or the abyss, whichever way you want interpret what happens next. We leave it open to the fans to decide with their own beliefs. This depiction of the transition between life and death was made by Hungarian artist Peter Sallai, and will be on the standard CD jewel case and limited edition cassette tape versions.
Overall, this seems like it's going to be one hell of a release. Surely there will be a single soon!
