Metal Injection

It's only September, and we're already talking about summer festivals in 2013? I guess we are. Yesterday, the organizers of the Download Festival announced two of their headliners. Download Fest 2013 will go down June 14th through the 16th and headlining the Saturday portion will be Iron FN Maiden. The band will continue their Maiden England set at the show, playing all the hits.

Closing out the fest on Sunday night, will be German industrial powerhouses Rammstein. I can only imagine the type of show they will bring to the large setting in Donnington.

I've always said I want to go to Download, and maybe this will be the year. I'll have to see how other festivals shape up in comparison. Tickets go on sale next Friday at 9am local time. More info on the official Download website.
