Yesterday, we posted about Vik Guitars founder Vik Kuletski’s unpleasant comments geared towards Cynic's Paul Masvidal, which led to a few metal bands dropping any affiliation with him.
Dutch progressive metal band Exivious, which features amongst its ranks two former touring members of Cynic thought this would be an appropriate time to record a tribute song to the Belarusian guitar maker with a new song titled "Vik In The Closet." The result is hilarious and educational:
Ok, it's not really educational, but that was great. It's so awesome to see the prog metal community unitedly calling this guy out for being a jackass.
Exivious, by the way, just released a new album, Liminal. The band was kind enough to upload the whole thing to Youtube:
