WITH THE DEAD Has A Not-So-Friendly Split With Ex-ELECTRIC WIZARD Drummer

One less with the dead.

One less with the dead.

Drummer Mark Greening has been making some rough headlines in the past few years. Greening was the drummer of Electric Wizard from 1993 to 2003, and then rejoined again in 2012. In 2014, Greening left Electric Wizard again and sued the group for essentially not paying him for recording its album Time To Die.

Greening then joined With The Dead in 2015, which also features ex-Electric Wizard bassist and guitarist Tim Bagshaw and ex-Cathedral vocalist Lee Dorian. Now, just a few months afterward, it looks like With The Dead has booted Greening, or at the very least had a not-so-friendly split. with the man (so sayeth Facebook).

UPDATE FROM THE CRYPT: Just to confirm – due to personal and political reasons, With The Dead will no longer be working with Mark Greening.

As far as we’re concerned, it is not worth wasting any more time on the matter. The band will continue, with UK dates and a new line-up to be announced very shortly.

A band fronted by Dorian probably won't have a hard time finding a drummer, but you still have to wonder what happened here.
