CYNIC writing new music, to tour again in 2010

We received a very exciting press release from CYNIC's management the other day. Here is a direct quote that gave me a bit of a chub…

Having just returned from Europe, CYNIC will now spend the next few weeks writing and recording; at year's end, they will then travel to Australia for a short tour that will lead straight into a soon-to-be-announced American tour, their third in 12 months.

New music? Another US tour?? Yes and Yes! Some people on this site may not be happy, but I'm very excited. CYNIC put out one of the best releases of 2008, and it would be awesome to hear some new music from them in 2010. To hold you over, make sure to check out the interview we did with frontman Paul Masvidal a few months ago.
