So Abbath has left Immortal, and announced his solo project. Meanwhile, the rest of Immortal will continue on writing new music without Abbath.
But what is Abbath going do? He's releasing his own solo record, as promised, and it's coming this January on Season of Mist. Abbath will provide vocals and guitar, with bass by King Ov Hell aka Tom Cato Visnes. Borknagar's Baard Kolstad will be on drums.
The band played a new song live earlier this summer at Tuska called "Fenrir Hunts."
