Revolver's been doing this Hottest Chicks In Metal thing for quite a while now, and I guess they have run out of hot metal chicks. This year's issue (has it been a whole year already?) is changed to be the Hottest Chicks in Hard Rock issue with the cover featuring some chick who I had to look up 'cause I had no idea who this bitch was since I'm a dude half naked. ZOMG!!! This has lead to an incredible amount of press for Revolver (congrats!) as conservative groups are up in arms, blah blah. What is the big deal, mainstream media? It's not that revealing to me. I've seen girls on the beach wear far far less, as have some pop stars.

Anyway, turns out this girl is in a band, and they couldn't be more generic. Yawn! I can't wait for next year's Hottest Chicks in Polka Issue. I nominate this woman!

If metal magazines insist on releasing calendars targeting the gents, there should rightfully be one for the ladies. Granted, there's likely to be an entirely different selection criteria…your Lemmy Kilmister article is a case in point.
