TRIVIUM's Matt Heafy Reveals Extreme Black Metal Side Project
- Posted by Frank Injection on August 15, 2012
This past Monday, August 13, 2012, I was invited to attend a very exclusive acoustic set by Trivium frontman Matt Heafy, in association with the Moscot Mobileyes Foundation in NYC. You can learn much more about this program and his involvement by watching this brief interview I did with Matt, as well as watch the only pro-shot footage of the event here. While answering a question from the audience between songs, Matt eventually started on a tangent concerning his love for black metal and continued to reveal a new project called Mrityu that he's never spoke about before. He goes on to explain the sound, the members, the influence, and expected release time. Watch the video below to hear Matt talk about his new project first hand.
