This Rob-and-Darren-free episode will be remembered for two things: The gang finding out what nugget porn is and the gang reading Rob's old Livejournal entries. That's right, we invaded that fuck's privacy because he's in Texas and we're not. It was hilarious, download that shit and thank us later. Also, do you like squirters?
Here's what was playing on tonights show:
SUIDAKRA – The Isle of Skype
PRIMORDIAL – The Gathering Wilderness
AKERCOCKE- Chapel of Ghouls
DARK TRANQUILLITY – Iridium
IMPALED NAZARENE- I am the Killer of Trolls
DECAPITATED - Mother War
*DISCLAIMER: The first 30 minutes of this episode sound like we were recording from inside of a blender cup because we did not hit record at the start. We have salvaged that audio from the shitty blog talk stream. Starting with the first music break the audio is back to normal. Don't fear, all the Rob Livejournal audio is nice and clear.
On this edition of the Livecast, we are joined by our good friend Loni. We talk about Marty Friedman's new Fanta endorsement, and later in the show an irate Thor Shredsteen joined us to complain about that. Also, we learn what Peter Steele is currently up to and reinterpt some songs from our youth as if Mr. Steele were singing them. Also discussed was ICP's recent appearance on ABC News and how insane their fans are. Darren talks about his near death experience at Woodstock and more. Here is this week's playlist:
CARNIVORE – God Is Dead DAUGHTERS – Our Queens (One Is Many, Many Are One) IHSAHN – The Barren Lands LEVI/WERSTLER – Dura Mater FIGHT – War of Words
This Week's Livecast Behind the Scenes shot moments before the show started
This week on the Livecast, we were joined by Axl Rosenberg of MetalSucks and Rich Hall, promoter of 1000 KNIVES hanging out for the entire show. Rich was a little confused at first on if we were on air or not. He also assumed all the callers' names were Darren. But we got through it anyway, getting a bunch of random calls from people with juggalo hate, Emmure hatred, and we got a call from a devoted listener from Venezuela. We played Thrash It or Trash It and heard Malevolent, Milosony, George Costanza Is Brutal. We ended the show with an acapella version of Creeping Death.
Here is this week's playlist:
CONVERGE – My Great Devastator LUDICRA – A Larger Silence TODAY IS THE DAY – In the Eyes of God

This Week's Behind The Scenes – Shot Before the show
On this edition of the Livecast, we have a return visitor, Jenny aka JTussy. She came by to promote her new blog about cooking with weed, Bong Appetit. She even brought over some weed-laced guacamole and bean-tuna salad. It was pretty great. Also, she reveals how she's been keeping busy and how she keeps her house so clean. It gets quite revelatory. Plus we talk about the Russian version of the Jersey Shore reality show, as well as spending a few moments with the Iron Shiekuation. Here is this week's playlist:
LAMB OF GOD The Faded Line SONS OF AURELIUS Mycoardial Infarction ASPHYX Diabolical Existence THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER Black Valor GLASS CASKET Too Scared To Live

On this edition of the Livecast, we had three guests on the air, our friends Loni, Justina and Sean. We had a bunch of interesting callers, including another Noah (with an H), who also happened to be from Rockford, IL. Why is it that every time Loni is on the air with us, we get Rockford callers? We heard some WalMart customer service nightmare stories, talked about supergroups (or super groups), we learned about Mike Portnoy collaborating with AVENGED SEVENFOLD. Also, find out what N.I.P. stands for. Here is this week's playlist entirely picked by Sean…
CURL UP AND DIE – There Ain't No Can't In American ENTOMBED – Young Man Nihilist GAZA – Calf THE ABOMINABLE IRON SLOTH – I'd Rather Die Than Fly BIRDS OF PREY – Taking On Our Winter Blood
What happened on this snowy edition of the Metal Injection Livecast? Well, Rob drank. A lot. He vowed to drink a shot of vodka every time we got another caller and so he did. And the callers held up their end of the bargain by calling in more times than any other show that didn't feature a special musical guest. Rob did around 18 shots. So yeah, it was a hilarious trainwreck. Download it and listen to it once for every shot Rob did. It's the least you can do! Here is this week's playlist:
DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN – Good Neighbor MESHUGGAH – Humilative (Live) OVERKILL – Bring Me The Night
Here is some bonus footage of Rob throughout the night:
A new episode of The FiX is posted and on this edition, we hand over the reigns of the show to Noa who put down her dragonology book and hosted the show, picking all the videos. She picked videos from BATTLELORE, ANGRA, BETZEFER, FALCONER, UNLEASHED.. Where can you see a playlist like that anywhere else? The answer is you can't. The FiX prides itself in bringing you the best variety of metal music videos anywhere and this episode is no different.

February is the month where holidays make people feel bad – bad about not having a Valentine, and bad about not being president. Which is why episode 52 of Issue Oriented is the perfect way to forget your woes. Go ahead – get lost in our eyes. We don't have to tell a soul.
First, Joey Cape (Lagwagon, Bad Astronaut, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes) and Jon Snodgrass (Drag The River) participate in a tag-team interview that covers a wide range of topics – from sadness, to money, to regionalism, and everything in between. Joey and Jon also gave a stirring performance live in the Issue Oriented Studio. Not to be missed.
Then Freddy Cricien, a.k.a. Freddy Madball, returns to Issue Oriented for a great discussion. This discussion touches on a whole bunch of big-people stuff, like religion and politics, as well as the release of Freddy's new hip-hop record, Catholic Guilt. What a great discussion.
This episode of Issue Oriented is sponsored by Warbird Entertainment. Check out WarbirdEntertainment.com for info on releases from Harbour 81, Guns On The Run, Let Me Out and many more!
The big night has come and gone, the 1st Annual METAL INJECTION LIVECAST AWARDS is in the bag and what a show it was. As we mentioned on last week's Livecast, we decided to take a trip out into the Mojave desert. While there, we thought it was a perfect opportunity to shoot a new episode of our music video podcast, The FiX. Rob doesn't seem too comfortable in this environment, but luckily Frank is there to calm him down. Videos from ARSIS, SIX FEET UNDER, REVOCATION, EXODUS & MALEFICE are featured.
