Photographer Rodrigo Fredes was out at the New York City Summer Slaughter gig and came back with some killer shots. Gojira played a rare intimate gig at the 300-cap Saint Vitus venue in Greenpoint, New York City last week and teared it down to shreds. Photographer Rodrigo Terco was on hand, sweating it out, to capture some awesome shots of this memorable occasion. Check out the photos here.
Metal Injection photographer Rodrigo Terco headed down to Baltimore over Memorial Day weekend to capture some amazing shots at Maryland Deathfest, and came back with over 350 photos of bands like Mayhem, Paradise Lost, The Haunted, Venom and many more. There were two big shows last week, and photographer Rodrigo Fredes was there to capture them both. It would be a bit harder to believe that Opeth have been kicking around the metal scene for a full 25 years now if they hadn't taken us on such a farflung journey during that quarter century, but this coffee table victory lap actually represents a long overdue career summation, showing the same care and craftsmanship in a biblio-visual sense that the band have become known for with their musical work.
