TOOL Invites Young Fan On Stage To Be Danny Carey's Drum Tech

This is really cool.

This is really cool.

Fans have been getting some serious VIP treatment lately. Whether it be the Avenged Sevenfold fan who proposed to his fiancé on stage or half the venue getting on stage for a recent Dillinger Escape Plan show or the Alice In Chains fan who got to play drums with the band during a gig, we've been seeing a lot of cool videos lately.

Today's comes from Tool, who posted the below video of a young kid who got the experience of a lifetime. Guitarist Adam Jones plucked the kid from the crowd, with parents' permission of course, and brought him behind the drum riser, to serve as Danny Carey's drum tech. The kid got to hold a drumstick and experience the band from a vantage point not many get to see. Carey, who has fully recovered from the staph infection, had a smile from ear to ear.

We recently posted some awesome photos of Tool from Aftershock Festival. View the gallery here.
