While we won't hear new TOOL music until next year, drummer Danny Carey is not sitting idly. We told you a few weeks ago about his new project, Volto! and I am blown away by this new track the band just released.
The band, which also consists of bassist Lance Morrison (who is Don Henley's touring bassist) and guitarist guitarist John "Volto" Ziegler. Their album, Incitare is due out on July 23rd and today the band released their first music video. It's a long video, and honestly, I kinda checked out a few minutes in, but I kept listening to the track, which just got better and better:
As a friend described it, the music sounds like Meshuggah instrumental parts if they were made in the 70s. I have to agree there. Do you dig Volto!?
