We've seen heavy metal in commercials before. Whether it's this black metal FedEx commercial, this black metal commercial from KFC, Rob Zombie's commercial for detergent or that Suffocation History Channel commercial, it's nothing new. But this may be the most random use of metal in a commercial ever.
Quiznos is celebrating "National Cookie Day" next Tuesday, December 4th, which I can't believe is a real, actual thing and the chain will be giving out free cookies. Obviously, they wanted to get the word out, so they chose to use a power metal band to spread their message:
Um, ok, sure. I guess it worked, because I know about National Cookie Day. The song itself sounds like a bad a ripoff of Crotchduster.
