PIG DESTROYER Goes Punk Rock

Pig Destroyer wear their influences on their sleeves. They might be a grind band, but they don't hide their love for old school punk and hardcore. If you watched our footage from their 2009 NYC show, you know it ended with a massive pile on as they covered The Dwarves.

The band went all out with their most recent release, Book Burner, including a whole bonus disc with the special edition that comes with punk-rock covers. This includes classics from Black Flag, Minor Threat, Misfits, Angry Samoans, Circle Jerks, Negative Approach and Void. The whole bonus disc is streaming right now at AbsolutePunk.

Are you a punk rocker? What do you think of these covers? Don't forget to check out our footage of an entire recent Pig Destroyer concert the band played.
