Our very own King of Metal, Dave Hill and Phil Anselmo are fast becoming best friends forever. They hung out a few weeks ago at Phil's place for an upcoming series of videos for Adult Swim, and posted these hilarious photos. Continuing their BFF-ery, Phil and his band the Illegals were at the House of Blues in Cleveland last night, and since the King of Metal was in town, he was invited up to jam on a Superjoint Ritual track, another previous Phil project.
I think it's awesome that Phil called out our very own yearly series, Black Metal History Month and Dave's great videos from that series (including Dave reviewing black metal videos and new black metal bands.) Rumor has it that's how the love affair between Dave and Phil started, after Phil was impressed with the King of Metal's knowledge of metal videos. We're happy to help bring metalheads together.
