Is it just me, or has the guitar duo of Marek "Ashok" Šmerda and Rick Shaw really brought Cradle Of Filth back into relevance since 2014? Seriously, the band's new song "You Will Know The Lion By His Claw" might run a little bit longer, but the riffs are awesome and the single really ought to get you stoked for the new album! It's a little blackened, a little old-school Cradle Of Filth, but mostly it's just straightforward metal.
As far as Dani Filth, dude's still doing his thing and somehow hasn't blown out his vocal cords completely… which is impressive. Cryptoriana – The Seductiveness of Decay is out September 22, and you can pre-order that here.
