METALLICA's James Hetfield Takes A Nasty Fall During Amsterdam Concert

Metallica's money-making machine, aka the ongoing WorldWired tour stopped by the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam last night (Sept. 4th) and during the band's performance of "Now That We're Dead," Hetfield made a wrong left and fell into their stage.

Metallica were playing in the round, it seemed and they do have a very elaborate stage set up, and it looked like the hole had just opened up, so it's easy to see how somebody could take a wrong turn. There is some footage of the incident:

Hetfield was able to resume performing. It could've been worse. Immediately, this took my mind back to 1992, when the band were on tour with Guns N Roses and Hetfield stood too close to the pyro and got burned. The moment was documented in the band's infamous Behind The Music:
