Yeah, because the their new single is called "Firebees" and it hurts my ears in a way I can't explain. Now you know!
Maybe I just don't get Iwrestledabearonce, but this song is just silly to me and the vocals sound like they were recorded through a cell phone with all the instruments mixed way, way below them.
Now don't get m wrong; Courtney LaPlante can very obviously sing (if you made it that far into the song), but the rest is just… whatever. I can't even hear the other instruments well enough to comment on them being good or not, but it sounds like a whole metric fuckton of breakdowns. Between the vocals, the snare drum, and the keys, the song is a mess and I am no longer afraid to die.
