FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH Share One Minute of New Music

Will the band be allowed to actually release new music?

Five Finger Death Punch had an interesting Thanksgiving weekend to say the least. Last Friday, frontman Ivan Moody was in no condition to perform, and the band cut their set short. The following night, Moody claimed he had a "meltdown" the night before and wanted to move on.

It looks like the band want to move on as well, as today they shared a minute of new tour footage which also included a music bed of a new track writing "There is a strong possibility that there is a snippet of a brand new song in this video."

It might be a while since we actually hear the full song as the band is embroiled in a lawsuit, as they're being sued by their former/current label Prospect Park hoping to delay the band from entering the studio because the label feels the band is "shamelessly attempting to cash in before the anticipated downfall of their addicted bandmate." Five Finger Death Punch responded the following day calling the suit a publicity stunt in an attempt to draw more value to label, so the CEO, Jeff Kwatinetz, could sell at a higher price with the value of the label being higher if he can offer one more Five Finger album. The band has since announced their next album will be released on Rise/BMG.

It's an interesting time to be a Five Finger Death Punch fan. We'll keep you posted when we hear more.
