Brutai have shared the stage with bands like Monuments and Uneven Structure, yet their name hardly gets thrown around. Let's change that! We've got their brand new single "Relapse" from their upcoming debut record and it's pretty damn good.
The introductory portion of the song kind of reminds me a little bit of Mutiny Within, but then takes a sharp turn into that modern progressive metal sound. Slick guitars provide a shiny top layer to a chunky, solid foundation of bass and drums with vocals painting image after image on the surface to keep the listener entertained easily.
