Metal Injection

It's Tuesday morning and I'm still personally recovering from a crazy week at SXSW. Yesterday was a ton of e-mail answering and catching up and today hopefully things will slowly be restored to normal. Thankfully, while I was gone there has been a ton of awesome new music out there. Let's begin, shall we?

Well, I'm officially excited for the new Cattle Decapitation album. Holy crap, this new track, "A Living, Breathing Piece of Defecating Meat" is phenomenal, in content and song titling. I love LOVE LOVE the vocals that Travis Ryan is experimenting with on this track. Ryan is definitely one of the most underrated frontmen in extreme metal, as he has great range. We'll be able to hear that range out in full force when the band's new album, Monolith of Inhumanity, comes out May 8th.

Oh look, a new Arsis pre-production demo, featuring front man James Malone back in the fold. Fuck yea! The band promises new material in late 2012, early 2013. Arsis is coming back, bitches!

Metal Underground has premiered the studio version of Job For A Cowboy's "Black Discharge", a new track off their forthcoming album, Demonocracy, out April 10th. We just posted a bootleg live video of the track being performed at SXSW.

Here is a pretty hilarious video of Steel Panther roasting Zakk Wylde from the recent Rock & Roll Roast that was recently made available. These guys are hilarious. Somebody pass the Lita Ford Pussychunks.
