Audio Roundup: METALLICA, GOJIRIA, PSYOPUS, HEAVY HEAVY LOW LOW

Posted on August 21, 2008

There is so much new music coming out right now, my head is about to explode. This Fall season is shaping up to be a huge one for metal. Here is some new audio released today:

Metallica have posted three song samples on their official site. I'm not going to lie, they're rather shitty quality. If you want the good stuff, two recent Misson Metallica clips had song samples that were so good, it made me begin to feel that this album may not completely blow chunks like I initially feared. Check those out here and here.

On the heels of a live clip leaking of GOJIRA performing their new song, Vacuity, the band have posted the studio version of the track on their MySpace page. The song is crunchier than a bag of potato chips. This album is going to rule!

Our buddies in Psyopus have temporarily put up a new song called the Burning Halo (which sounds amazing) on their MySpace page . Hurry before its gone.

Finally, if you're a fan of old Dillinger Escape Plan or Every Time I Die, check out Heavy Heavy Low Low's entire album streaming at Spin.com.
