The History Of Metal And Horror is an upcoming documentary that explores the link between metal and the horror genre from the eyes of director Mike Schiff. Some of the interviews include Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett, Slipknot singer Corey Taylor, Alice Cooper, Korn frontman Jonathan Davis, Rob Zombie guitarist John 5, Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante and way, way more.
Hammett in particular commented on the project.
"I like to think of myself as someone who, like, has a real passion for this stuff and is knowledgeable," he said. "You know, I like to think of myself as a horror movie historian and, you know, I like to think of myself as someone who actually means it. I really love this stuff."
