Kirk Hammett's Fear FestEvil was this past weekend and Metal Injection was there snapping a ton of photos, which we will post later in the week. One of the most newsworthy happenings of the weekend was Kirk Hammett joining headliners Meshuggah up on stage to do a guest solo on their track "Bleed."
The solo starts at about 4:43 in the video. How did Kirk do?

Seems that Father Time has given Metallica a newfound ethos regarding side-projects.
"That's a blessing, and at the same time, it's hard to contend with."
Specifically "Kaleidoscope" and "God He Sees In Mirrors".
