METALLICA Played "St. Anger" By Request & It Didn't Sound Bad

Metallica is currently on their By Request world tour, where they like ticket buyers vote on the set list for each night. At their Denmark stop, the crowd actually requested the title track from their 2003 album St. Anger and the band played it for the first time in eight years (as far as I can tell). It seems like they sped it up, cut out about 2 minutes and with the presence of live drums and not pots and pans, they actually made the song tolerable.
