Ex-EMMURE Brothers Take A Shot At EMMURE In LAKESHORE's Debut Song

They weren't too harsh about it, but they make how they feel pretty clear.

Lakeshore, the band that features Emmure co-founders Ben Lionetti and Joe Lionetti, have finally debuted their first song and video, and it's a semi-positive retrospective on the brothers' time in Emmure.

You can check out the song's full lyrics below, which are very clearly directed at Emmure founding vocalist Frankie Palmeri. The Lionetti brothers left Emmure in 2009, after having been in the group since its inception in 2003.

We've been here before and now we're back here again
Coming back around again
You dug your own grave, six feet from the bed that you made
I hope you sleep well my friend

When did you notice it was all on fire
This time I wont stop until I make it mine
Your voice it live through me
You're searching for anything
And this will be our mark in history

It's so sad to see everything we couldn't be
We both think about it time and again
The ocean is deep but what does it matter
You cant see the surface you're already drowning

We've extended our hand we wont do it again
You can fight all you like but you know that I'm right
We've extended our hand we wont do it again

When did you notice it was all on fire
This time I wont stop until I make it mine
Your voice it live through me
You're searching for anything
And this will be our mark in history

The same brothers who really don't like Frankie Palmeri now have Lakeshore, which is pretty melodic.
