WORMREICH Vocalist Says Band Will Not Break Up After Deadly Van Crash

Despite losing two members in the crash, the band vows to continue.

Yesterday morning the metal community woke up to find out that both Wormreich and Khaotika were in a deadly van crash. The crash took the life of Khaotika's Nicholas R. Crisostomo, 25, of Round Hill, Virginia and both Wormreich's Ian A. McKinney, 30, of Madison, Tennessee and Paul. J. Truesdell, 29, of Mableton, Georgia. Be you fans of the band, hate their music or you've never even heard of them up until right now, lives are lives… and young lives at that.

In a statement made by Wormreich vocalist Christopher Earl Pyle, he says the band will not be breaking up, but will continue on in the memory of the two lost.

"This morning I lost my brother and best friend, along with two awesome people that I was lucky to have even known for a short while. Two of my other brothers remain in critical condition. Somehow I was spared with only superficial wounds and a dislocated shoulder.

"This is not the end of Wormreich. It's always been my vision, but more importantly, it is for those whom I have lost today that it MUST continue.

"Please send healing energy to the members of Wormreich, Khaotika and their families. Ave."

Here's hoping the rest of everyone else in the crash turns out to be alright. We'd like to quickly remind you that a GoFundMe fundraisers has been set up as a memorial fund for the victims. All money is going directly to the families. Here is the link.
