Sister of FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH Frontman Claims He's Lying, Alleges Mother Is "Alive & Well"

Is Moody making things up?

UPDAT #2: One night after this disastourous performance, Moody took the stage again to claim he had a mental meltdown the night before. See his entire speech here. He also claimed that it was his "house mother" from rehab who was sick.

Earlier today, we reported that Five Finger Death Punch cut their set short at the DCU Center in Worcester, MA last night, November 25th. Multiple reports from fans in attendance stated that Moody was visibly drunk and in no condition to perform. In fact, bassist Chris Kael sang a few songs, and they played some instrumentally before ultimately cutting the set short after eight songs.

Video footage surfaced of Moody at some point in the set telling the crowd "My mother is actually passing along today, and I chose to here today instead of with her. So thank you so much for coming." Rock Feed reached out to Moody's sister, Sandi who alleges there is absolutely nothing wrong with their mother.

“Our mother is alive and well. I believe in my personal opinion that Ivan was drunk and used that as an excuse for his horrid behavior.” Sandi told Rock Feed.

Blabbermouth published a report after our original story stating they spoke to representatives from the band who said it was "another member of his extended family who has gotten very sick but has not yet died." When asked by Rock Feed, Sandi clarified “no one in our family is sick or dying currently”. She was shocked to learn of the news this morning adding “Jesus. Imagine waking up and hearing that news? NOT TRUE.”

Last year, it was reported that Moody's sister Sandi has a restraining order in September of 2014 claiming her brother harassed her and made threats towards their mother, and he claimed he had a "history of violence with women" while drinking. Today, she once again urged her brother to seek help.

It is unknown if Moody will take the stage at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, tonight. If anybody is attending and would like to send us a report, you may do so at [email protected]
