Rob Halford Is Down To Do Another FIGHT Record

But do the other guys want to?

But do the other guys want to?

Fight, the group formerly fronted by Judas Priest vocalist Rob Halford, is coming up on 20 years of not being a band at all. Fight had two records, one in 1993 titled War of Words and one in 1995 A Small Deadly Space, before things went south. It's worth noting that the general consensus seems to read that the latter wasn't the best album for Fight to call it quits on either, so maybe the group will get back together to rectify the issue? Halford wants it to at least, according to a recent interview with Scenestr:

"I've just been through a patch with the people who were looking after me previously. It took a while to get everything knocked back into shape legally and to get out of the hell that I was going through.

"But the good news is my solo back catalogue is slowly being put back out there into the world again. And, if the opportunity arises, I would love to do that again.

"Priest is the most important band to me, ever, first and foremost. We are always very busy in Priest, so it's a matter of finding the time. I would love to. Maybe I will come back with Fight, reconnect and have a good time."

The other guys in the group, being current Judas Priest drummer Scott Travis, ex-Coup de Grace guitarist Mark Chaussee and ex-Cyanide bassist Jay Jay and guitarist Brian Tilse, haven't made any comment yet, but here's hoping! It would be cool to see even a Fight studio album this year, without a tour… though we're not opposed to a small tour either.
