Phil Anselmo, a little-known frontman who you may have heard in unknown bands like Down, Pantera, Superjoint and more, has teamed up with actor Bill Moseley for a brand new musical project called Bill + Phil. You might know Moseley from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 as Chop Top, or as Otis in House Of 1000 Corpses and Devil's Rejects.
The duo will be releasing Songs Of Darkness And Despair on January 20 via Phil's Housecore Records. The topics and lyrics were written by Mosely, and were performed by Anselmo and Stephen "The Big Fella" Berrigan (Down, Eyehategod, etc.).
The album will also see appearances by Superjoint guitarist Kevin Bond, King Parrot bassist Squizzy Squires, and Superjoint drummer José "Blue" Gonzalez. You can pre-order the album, alongside some weird masks, via the Hoursecore Store.
