After a delayed start due to Hurricane Sandy, Dethklok's tour with Machine Head, All That Remains and The Black Dahlia Murder kicked off earlier this week. Fans in attendance noticed something different about the Black Dahlia Murder though…they had a new drummer playing with them.
Who is this mysterious drummer and what happened to Shannon Lucas?
If you watch the footage you can see the drummer is not Shannon. MetalSucks has learned that former Abigail Williams skinsman Alan Cassidy is the man behind the kit for the band.
This wouldn't be the first time the band went on the road with a new member without announcing it. Earlier this year, new bassist Max Lavelle played a few months with the band before it was officially announced that he was a member of the band.
We tried reaching out to members of the band and were told that an official statement would be made later today. For now, let's enjoy some video of the band's current drummer crushing it. Do you think he's up to par?
