In a new tongue-in-cheek video that Corey Taylor recorded for Music Choice, while out promoting his new book, You're Making Me Hate You, Corey Taylor took exception to a recent statement Kanye West made. You see, Kanye played Glastonbury a few weeks ago, and while doing a horrible cover of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody (or really just leading a giant karaoke version of it). During the performance, Kanye was quoted as saying "You're watching the greatest living rock star on the planet!"
That's what Corey takes exception with in this new video…
Here's a transcription of what Taylor said:
"Kanye, you are not — not — the greatest living rock star of all time. The fact that you had to tell people that kind of says it all. You remind of the guy who brags about pussy. They never get as much as they brag about. Stop it. [Slaps wrist] Stop it!"
Pretty on point.
Kanye is the world's greatest rockstar, the same way he is a metalhead after being spotted in a Megadeth shirt and incredibly gaudy heavy metal sweatpants.
