VEKTOR Will Continue Despite Everyone Besides The Frontman Quitting

Crisis averted.

Crisis averted.

Alright, let's all take a deep breath – we're not losing Vektor. Last night, Vektor took to Facebook to announce that original guitarist Erik Nelson, alongside drummer Blake Anderson and bassist Frank Chin, have all quit the band. The post has since been taken down, but is still readable in its original form in the linked post above.

Founding frontman David DiSanto, currently the only member of Vektor, followed up the post with his own, saying he will carry on Vektor despite the losses. Which makes sense considering he's the main songwriter, frontman, and plays every instrument anyway. So why wouldn't Vektor carry on if it's essentially just DiSanto?

I apologize to anyone who was concerned about the post from earlier today. Vektor is not stopping. I started writing Vektor songs in 1999 and I'm still writing Vektor songs. As long as I live, Vektor will not die.

I appreciate everything that Blake, Frank, and Erik have done to help this ship take off. I also appreciate all of my band mates before them: Willy, Pablo, Adam, Mike, and Kian.

See you on the road!

-Dave

Phew! You took a lot from us 2016, but you didn't take Vektor.
