SKELETONWITCH Parts Ways With Drummer, Hires Ex-JOB FOR A COWBOY Drummer

Jon Rice is back, y'all.

Jon Rice is back, y'all.

Skeletonwitch will head out on the road this May with Obituary and Pallbearer, though you won't see drummer Dustin Boltjes with them. Skeletonwitch has taken to Facebook to announced they've parted ways with Boltjes, who drummer for the band between 2011 and 2018. Stepping in for the time being is ex-Job For A Cowboy drummer Jon "Charn" Rice. It doesn't sound like Rice is a permanent member, but who knows what'll happen?

At this time, we feel it's necessary to inform everyone that Skeletonwitch has parted ways with Dustin Boltjes. Dustin gave much of his creativity, time, and energy to the band, and for that we thank him and wish him the best. Jon Rice will be handling drum duties for the time being. See you all on the road.

Skeletonwitch also has a brand new album due out sometime this year. Get the band's dates with Obituary and Pallbearer below.
