For all the crap I give Metallica about licensing their name and image for shitty things like ties, jigsaw puzzles and Monopoly games, I have to say I'm really excited about the just announced Metallica pinball game.
Pinball games are my absolute favorite type of arcade game, and I'm excited to hear Metallica is getting in on the fun. Of course, they won't be the first band to do so as AC/DC and Guns N Roses both already have legendary pinball machines.
Metallica is teaming up with Stern Pinball, Inc., who basically have a monopoly on the pinball game market to create the game. The game will feature the following Metallica tracks blasting as you try to beat your best score:
