The month of May is Mental Health Awareness Month, so let's help out!

For the past couple years, my buds over at You Rock Foundation have been doing great things for the metal community. By inviting the likes of Korn's Jonathan DavisThe Dillinger Escape Plan's Ben Weinman, Lamb of God's Randy Blythe and Slipknot's Corey Taylor to talk candidly about over coming depression and addiction at difficult times, allows their fans to know they are not alone in life struggles. Since their inception, YRF has been helping those in need of suicide prevention, and strives to create awareness of mental health for all.

Today, they embark on one of their most ambitious projects yet, the 1 Million Mohawk Challenge! The month of May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and in celebration, YRF invites you to take part by donning your best mohawk and spreading your photos with the hashtag #1millionmohawks to support the cause.

You’ll be joining artist from around the world, as seen by members of Stone Sour above. So break out those clippers and join the cause!

Watch the video below for more information on the event, directly from the You Rock Foundation.
