Earlier in the week Pain of Salvation released their acoustic covers Falling Home record. The record mainly spans the group's back catalogue, save for new track "Falling Home" two covers. Check out their rendition of "Holy Diver" by the legendary Dio… don't expect any heaviness though!
I can't speak for their Lou Reed cover on the record, but I definitely like the Dio song. It's something different rather than a band trying to make it "svper brvtal" or anything silly like that. Been there, done that! Good on Pain of Salvation for trying something new here!
But would Ronnie James Dio approve is the real question…
