The New JOB FOR A COWBOY Song is More Prog-Metal Than Death-Metal

This is some tasty new music!

This is some tasty new music!

A new Job For A Cowboy track found it's way into my inbox, and I've been aniticipating hearing this stuff ever since I learned that Intronaut's Danny Walker was session drumming on the album. And it seems Walker's influence may have rubbed off on the band. Their new track, "Sun of Nihility" sounds like nothing the band has previously put out:

There are, of course, death metal elements to the music but overall, it sounds rather proggy. Which is exciting. I guess we'll hear the full evolution of the music when the band releases their next album, Sun Eater on November 11th. Pre-order it on Metal Blade.
